Amazing Grace

Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed?  For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.  He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.  Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.  But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.  All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.  He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.  He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.  And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.  Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand.  He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.  Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.
Isaiah 53:1‭-‬12 KJV

Jesus moved from a position from being the great prophet and chosen Messiah to being arrested, beaten, and scorned. He was beaten out of shape and no one desired to look upon him.

This was the penalty he was willing to pay for us.  He was seen as a cursed man. He had taken on the curse of death for our sakes.

What amazing Grace! Isaiah tells us of all the details our Lord went through upon his death. The sons of the world was placed on His flesh and then his flesh was destroyed by the Father.

Thank you Lord for giving us complete access back to the Father.  The thing that once separate us from you, you have cleaned and purified and now abide in.

Have you allowed Christ to live in you?

Sons by Grace

I really don’t believe enough is said about our sonship, but we are the children of the Living God. Satan does not want us to accept this truth as fact. Instead we hail it through the air as religious cliche. When Paul wrote to the church at Ephesus he said “There is one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is above all,and through all and in you all. But to everyone of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.” (Eph.4:4-7)

He birthed us into his kingdom, He is Lord over all, He works through all and He lives in us all. We are the sons of God in every sense of the word son.

Acts 17:29 says “Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man’s device.

Even though Paul was talking to Ephesus the same principle still applies. We ought not to measure or equate God with material things.

We need to turn from the rudiments of the world. Allow the Father to be glorified in the sons.

In order for Him to be glorified we must first understand the resurrection of Jesus in order to see the concept of being a Son of the Living God.

According to 1 Corinthians 15:36-38 When Jesus died on the cross, He was that lonely seed that went into the ground. However when he rose he didn’t risevalone, butbwasvin the deep parts of he’ll that the church was first formed.

A seed when it is down is single, however, the plant it grows into looks nothing like the seed. Likewise the resurrection of Jesus is not limited to the Body that was placed in the tomb, but the seed of Jesus Christ is given a whole new body to express himself through.

When Jesus enters the body of those who receive Him, this is the resurrection of Jesus Christ. We look nothing like the firstbseed, but we together, form a tree that is filled with many seeds. Jesus through the believers live here on earth in flesh. Even though Jesus died once, He is now resurrected in us.

Scripture gives us great detail as to what the gospel truly is. It is typical of us to see this in light of Jesus death on the cross.

Hebrews 2:11-13
For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren
Saying I will declare that name unto my brthern in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto them.
And again I will put my trust in Him. And again, Behold I and the children which God hath given me.

He that is joined to the Lord is one spirit. We are all one in Christ Jesus. It is for this reason that Christ is not ashamed to call us brethren. We all came forth from Him and we are of his kind.

We are indeed Sons of Grace, sons of Christ.

Grace

What most people make grace to mean is that Jesus died for all and took on the sins of the whole world. That if they accept Jesus in their heart they can sin as much as they want.

The issue is perspective. When we read the scripture we need to read it from God’s perspective. What does God want from humanity. We have to look at our lives from God’s perspective. How do I glorify God? How do I please the Father? God looked at Jesus and said this is my son in whom I am well pleased.

When we don’t look at scripture from God’s perspective we miss something. We must ask ourselves how does God benefit from our sin? How does our sin please God?  We are people who knows what God requires and yet we sin. When we take that risk what do we say in our hearts? Is it because we can go in our secret chambers and have a one on one with God and say God knows my heart and some how we feel because we say we love God he will somehow look over our sin. This is presumptuous and deception. It is unbelief.

The grace of God was not sent to cover sin but to transform us to image of his son. Grace was made for God’s benefit, for God’s pleasure. Grace came to take the desire of sin out of my heart. No one knows your heart like you and God. No matter how others see you, you know yourself.

It’s time to purge our hearts from iniquity. It’s time to walk holy. Grace is a holy life. Grace is the life of Christ. Grace is what saves us. Grace is the life of Christ lived out through us.

Grace is the spirit of Christ, the Holy Ghost. His life is what saves us. We must be in agreement with God. Obeying God is a manifestation of the spirit of Grace.

Grace is for transformation. Grace comes that we be conformed to Jesus Christ. It’s not a bunch of dos and don’t, but it’s a transformation. A changed life. Grace is a live inside our bodies and it belongs to God.

Ask yourself am I walking in Grace? Am I proof of Grace?

Truth is Enough

Truth is enough. The doctrines of Christ are infallible. No error exist in Christ. If it seems to be error or contradictive to righteousness perspective of scripture then it did not come from God.

We live in an era where everyone wants sin to be accepted. Yes, Jesus loves us all but one thing is certain in order to reign with Him forever we cannot have any spot, blemish, or wrinkle.

I am very sure that many who teach such doctrines may be sincere in what they are doing and think their belief is right but I will say examine it closely with what the scripture says.

The Bible promises us that those who hunger and thirst for righteousness shall be filled.

Are we truly thirsty for righteousness?

The Holy Ghost will lead us in all truth if our hearts are open to receive it.

We really have to pray for those who feel they can get to heaven without true holiness.

1John1:5-6

This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all.
If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness we lie, and do not the truth:

Beloved, these verses are written to the children of God. They are not written to the lost.

Again I say God is light and in him is not darkness.

The true light of righteousness shines in Christ and in us. We are the light of the world because He is light and He is our life. He is the minister of those who are righteous and will never fellowship with darkness.

We are the light. Truth is enough. Don’t deviate from truth.

Servant to All

For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many. (‭Mark‬ ‭10‬:‭45‬ KJV)

Jesu lived His life with purpose. He continually made statements that expressed His mission because it was the core of His being.

He didn’t seek riches and fame from the people, he was not
trying to win a popularity contest either. He came to bring life to men. This life had a whole new dimension to it, this life was full of grace, love, joy, peace, all gifts from the heart.

Jesus came to save the world. Jesus came to us who were condemned and declared us not guilty. He did that by dying a sinners death. He died in our stead. The punishment we deserved he took it upon himself. The Bible says for a righteous man one may die but while we were yet sinners He died for us. He redeemed man back from capitivty.–Romans 5:8

All men every where have to do is accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. Live a life pleasing unto Him..obey His commands and we too can experience a life full of joy and peace in the midst of chaos and confusion.

Jesus came humbly, not asking people to serve him as he deserved, but on the contrary, he came to serve us. His life was characterized by radical generosity and personal sacrifice. He kept giving more and more. He gave the most precious thing that anyone could ever give you or me and that was he laid his life down for us–John 10:15–.

I thank Him daily for His sacrificial live for me. I thank Him for calling me out of the depths of sin and giving me an opportunity to serve Him as he has served. I can truly lay my life down and embrace his life and now that life lives in me reconciling other back to him.

Can you willing give up who you are and embrace who he is?

Encouragement

Word of The Lord:

Be encouraged! Do not be in despair! God has not forgotten you! I know sometimes it seems like it, but He hasn’t.

Sometimes you feel like you are working, studying, and accomplishing nothing. That is from the enemy. God has a blueprint for your life and you have to remember that your life is right now in his perfect will.

He knows everything about you, He sees what you are doing, He knows the things that lie upon your heart. Day by day he observe the good deeds you do, and it is Him that will give you the eternal reward for your faithfulness.

Don’t for one moment entertain lies of the devil. God is faithful and have given you His promise that if you love Him and keep His commandments you shall have eternal life.

Continue to be diligent and in due season you will reap your harvest!

Be Blessed,

Pastor Jackie

Closer to Him

James 4:8 says draw close to God and he will draw close to you.

We desire to be closer to God, but we hold back. Why? We have the Holy Spirit of God living on the inside of us– we don’t actually have to go anywhere to be in God’s presence. So why don’t we enjoy being with God as much as we can? I think it is something we all struggle with– being closer to Him.

We have been told so many different ways that we should get closer to God that sometimes it can be confusing. Is there a special and specific way? Is there a place we need to go? Is there a new technique we need to learn? I think not. I think James tells us clear–if we draw near(close) to him he will draw near (close) to us.

It is simply making one move, uttering one word, having one thought. It is simply turning our thoughts to Him. The book of Hebrews say come boldly to the throne. Reminds me of a picture of a king sitting on his throne and his children have access to him day or night. Jesus death made that accessible to all men. God promises that we will find grace and mercy to help in a time of need.

Our Father is never too busy, distracted, or unwilling to spend time with us. Let us draw near to him and He will draw near to us.

Be Blessed,

Pastor Jackie

Bundle of Thoughts

All a cross America and Canada people find time to enter into solitude, fasting, and prayer in order to meet Christ. This meeting, this confrontation, is needed if we are going to change the social, political, world which is swiftly rolling to brink of disaster.

We must meet God! We must be a witness!

We must reflect Christ in our lives!

We must pray and ask God to make us realize that he (Christ) lives within us.

We must acknowledge that we are new creatures entirely dependent upon God.

We must know that we cannot exist on our own, that we are very much dependent upon Him and that without Him we are merely dead men who appear to be alive.

Our lives as witnesses simply says I live in such a way that my life reflect Christ

Prayer is the beginning of our life as witnesses. What we need today is more people praying. The people of God are weary of being classified as right or wrong, weary in the disposition of our country, weary in the physical limitations that they are faced with but this weariness should lead a people to cry out to their Father like never before and watch Him respond to the needs of this world because the people of God have petitioned Him.

His prayer brings action!

Pray until change happens!

Walking with God

We live in a society where walking with God walking in the Christian faith is not feasible. We are criticized on every hand and persecuted as well. But the peace we gain from knowing we have done righteous before our Father cannot be explained.
We must stand firm on the life that we know to be true and to keep our hope anchored in the Word of God.

Wherewith shall I come before the Lord, and bow myself before the high God? shall I come before him with burnt offerings, with calves of a year old? Will the Lord be pleased with thousands of rams, or with ten thousands of rivers of oil? shall I give my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul? He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God? (‭Micah‬ ‭6‬:‭6-8‬ KJV)

What does our Father really want form us? Micah an Old Testament prophet asked that questions. Does The Lord really want animal sacrifices? What if we offered Him our firstborn son to The Lord? Would that be enough? Would that be what God really want from us? What does. He require of us?

Then I can hear the prophet speak the words of God to his own question…The Lord requires us to act justly, to love mercy, and walk humbly with Him. Remember, this was spoken of in Old Testament times where is was necessary to make sacrifices to The Lord but the prophet speaks out that out of all the sacrifices you make what is truly important to The Lord is being in a right relationship with Him and others.

And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these. (‭Mark‬ ‭12‬:‭30-31‬ KJV)

To act justly is to act morally, righteous, fairly, truthfully, honesty, and rightly. You seek to treat others with respect and interigty. You are loving in your actions. Justice is fighting against things evil and wrong. We begin with how we live our own lives, then we seek to bring justice to our world.

To love mercy is to act with compassion, kindness, forgiveness, and grace.you display God’s character when you are slow to anger and quick to forgive. The more we realize how merciful God has been to us the more merciful we should respond to others.

To walk humbly with the Father is to be obedient, always seeking God’s will over our own will, surrendering continually to God’s will. It is seeing ourselves as we really are. Jesus walked in true humility, living a life of constant surrender. He depended on the father for guidance and power.

Let us seek to have the same walk that Jesus walked.

Be Blessed,

Pastor Jackie

Real Salvation

God is not an impotent God. He is mighty in all that He does and salvation is no exception.
It is the mighty hand of God in salvation of the Sons that is on trial here. Every time leaders in the Body entreat sin and emotional disorders such as depression, offenses, unforgiveness as conditions that the Father has raised up spiritual counselors to deal with, they help to validate Satan’s inference that God is an impotent God unable to keep that which He saved out of the world.
If the Sons of God are victims of the same capititvies as unbelievers then where is the power of their God?
People go to all types of conferences and conventions looking for some magical formula that would end the struggle and cause us to walk in the power of the Holy Ghost.
No magical formula…the key to power is the knowledge of God. It is the sure Word, pure, full of the purpose of God.
Knowing God and who He is and what He requires and what He loves keeps you from sin.
I know that your struggle to live holy and to be free from lingering hurts can be over If I can cause you to know the truth about things God has freely given to His children.
Freely God has given us His Spirit and when we walk in the Spirit we are free from the captivity of sin.
Sin cannot hold a born again believer because you are just that BORN AGAIN. Your nature is the very nature of God.

Do you still feel capitive?

Accept Christ as your Saviour, walk in the Spirit and you will not fulfill lust of flesh.

You can be free.

Be Blessed,

Pastor Jackie
